The best decision I made regarding the care of my sister Nancy in the last year of her life was moving her to Silver Pines Care Homes and into the hands of Debbie Loesch and her incredible team and staff.

My sister was treated with dignity, momma-like care, good nutrition and friendship. She was accepted as a family member. I could see the difference in her personality almost immediately. She made new friendships and was able to participate and interact with the staff in daily tasks which added a great deal to her happiness.

Nancy’s diagnosis of dementia meant that this independent, now widowed woman would need a special and caring place to live. We live 3,000 miles away from the west coast. With help and the recommendation of Kaiser Permanente Medical Social Worker, Jessica Myers, we contacted Kim Moes. Kim is Senior advisor at Platinum Senior Services and immediately understood our issues and helped find the right home, Silver Pines Care Home. Within 24 hours Nancy was in her new home having her nails manicured.
